Lionel "Leo" Messi, Andres Kuccitina in Spanish: Lionel Andrés "Leo" Messi; was born June 24, 1987, is a football player who currently plays for FC Barcelona and the Argentine national team as a striker . In 2007 Messi established the Leo Messi Foundation, a charity involved in the provision of education and health care for children. In an interview with fan site, Messi said: «acquisitive little fame now gave me an opportunity to help people who really need it, especially children».
